Clif Morris is Scout Executive of the Old North State Council, Greensboro, North Carolina, and has served in that position since April 1, 2021.

Clif has been a Professional Scout Executive for 36 years.  He held multiple positions in the Piedmont Council - Gastonia, North Carolina, for 23 years, then served as Scout Executive/CEO of the West Tennessee Area Council in Jackson, Tennessee, and also as Scout Executive/CEO in Savannah, Georgia, until his appointment to the Old North State Council.

A native of Fayetteville / Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Clif is a lifelong scout, beginning as a Bear Cub Scout and earning his Eagle Scout in Troop 771 chartered to MacPherson Presbyterian Church.  He is a graduate of Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and spent a brief time interning and working in the District Attorney’s office before becoming a professional scout executive. 

 

Clif and his wife Jennifer enjoy time with their children -- Hannah, who lives and works in St. Louis, Josh, a graduate of Florida State and a detective with the Garden City, Georgia Police Department, and Jessica, a 2025 graduate at Appalachian State.
